Siemens 760 Positioner Electropneumatic Valve Positioners

Siemens 760 positioner P/E valve positioners provide a cost-effective, universal approach to valve control. The basic pneumatic model 760P1 takes a 3-15 PSIG input, and provides split ranging, direct or reverse action, and single or double action without adding any accessories. With the addition of an I/P transducer, the positioner becomes electropneumatic (760E1), to support a 4-20 mA DC input.

The mechanical linkage and characterization cam are field-replaceable to configure the positioner for use with either a linear or rotary actuator. No additional parts are necessary to change between single- or double-acting actuators or direct and reverse action.

Advantages of Siemens 760 P/E Positioner

  • Double- or single-acting output, direct or reverse action, and split ranging for application flexibility
  • Non-interaction of zero and span adjustments and positive cam locking mechanism reduce calibration and setup
  • Modular design supports interchangeable spare parts and reduces inventory: 4-20 mA feedback, limit switches, NAMUR switches, I/P module, and high flow spool valve all fit inside the enclosure
  • Comes standard with three cam characterizations: linear, quick opening, and equal percentage
  • Good for temperatures -40° to 185° F (-40° to 85° C); High temperature option available for process temperatures to 300° F (149° C)
  • Rotary feedback 90° standard; Linear feedback 1/2″ to 6″ standard (longer lengths available)
  • NACE MR-01-75 compliant material ensures operation in harsh industrial environments
  • Available with beacon or flat indicator
  • NEMA 4X/IP65 Epoxy and Polyester Powder-Coated Enclosure
  • FM, CSA, CE, and ATEX approvals
