PROEL-MINI Feeder Protection Relay

The Arc Flash Relay (feeder protection relay) is designed to protect the cabinets of complete switchgear of electrical substations 0.4-35 kV in the event of short circuits in them, accompanied by an open electric arc.

The device, using fiber-optic sensors of the VOD point type or the VODP loop type, detects a light flash from an electric arc in the infrared range and generates a signal (or signals) for disconnecting the supply voltage from the switchgear and signals for prohibiting the APV or ATS (if necessary)
