In accordance with the EN61243-5 standard, the DKM-185 operates as follows:
- If the voltage in any phase exceeds 45% of the nominal voltage (0.45Un), the corresponding display will light up and the relay (relay version only) will activate.
- If a phase voltage falls below 10% of the nominal voltage (0.1Un), the corresponding display will turn off. When all phase voltages drop below 0.1Un, the relay (relay version only) will deactivate.
For safety, the unit is grounded and does not carry hazardous voltages itself. To verify operation, divided voltage readings are accessible on the front panel test terminals, which come with a watertight gasket for both testing and panel mounting.
Important Note: The DKM-185 is built to order based on specific application requirements. When placing an order, please provide the capacitive isolator value (in picofarads) and the busbar voltage for proper configuration.
Additional Information (Relay Version Only):
- The relay version utilizes an isolated switch-mode power supply that does not affect the DC busbar polarity.
