SCM-PDS-HFCT HFCTPD sensor

The HFCT sensor consists of a magnetic core, a Rogowski coil, a filter and sampling unit, and an electromagnetic shielding box. The coil is wound on a magnetic core with high magnetic permeability at high frequencies. The design of the filter and sampling unit takes into account the requirements of measurement sensitivity and signal response frequency band.

In order to suppress interference, improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and take into account the requirements of rain and dust protection, the Rogowski coil and the filter part are installed in a metal shielding box and cast with epoxy.

Working principle

HFCT sensors are installed on cable joints and ground wires to couple partial discharge pulse current signals at the cable body and joints. The coupled pulse current signals are transmitted to the front-end monitoring collector via coaxial cables, and the analog signals are amplified, filtered, and converted into digital signals before being transmitted to the test host via optical fiber.
